The Princes of Peace Foundation™ was chartered on May 15, 2007 in Washington State, United States of America. The incorporators were Michelle “Micky” Dexter-Prince and Jay Prince. Its declared purpose is to create World Peace in our lifetime.
Founder, Micky, comes from a business background. She is an entrepreneur who co-owned and ran a successful computer related business for many years. She supports numerous charities and volunteers for some of them. She has given her life to creating World Peace.
Founder, Jay, also comes from a business background. He was a Certified Public Accountant in Washington State from 1976 until he retired his license in 2003. He is a serial entrepreneur who co-owned a successful computer related business for many years. He has been a software designer for all of his 35-year professional life. He too supports numerous charities and volunteers for some of them. He has “retired” from his former life. He is committed to creating World Peace in his lifetime – by 2030.
Micky and Jay have been together since 1986. They live in Seattle and Copalis Beach, Washington.
We chose Spheres, a Dove, various size and color People and an Olive Branch as our Foundation symbols. These symbols, along with our motto: “Creating World Peace: One Person at a Time ~ One Action at a Time”, comprise our logo in a multi-colored, progressive image when viewed from left to right.
We chose the Olive Branch and Dove for their long identification with Peace and Peaceful actions. We chose Spheres to represent World Peace as a Becoming process moving toward joining all people to achieve a Peaceful World. We chose multiple colors to represent all races of the World’s people as well as conveying a positive, cheerful image.
